Easy Italian Chopped Salad

This simple salad only has 6 ingredients. It's fresh, delicious and satisfying.


  • 1 roma tomato, diced
  • 1/3 cup diced salami
  • 1/2 cup salt free garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 2 tbsp Italian salad dressing
  • black pepper, (optional)


  • Combine ingredients in a bowl and serve, topping with freshly cracked black pepper.


My favorite salami to use is the hard salami that comes from the deli. I order 1/4 lb of it, and ask for it to be cut thick (about 1/2 per slice). Then I dice it into cubes.
